have a great day

 Hello hello and happy Monday!!

I found a little time this weekend to play with some new Stamp Market supplies and used this week’s Freshly Made Sketches sketch as inspiration…

I started with an Avery Elle pierced rounded frame background panel. I then stamped a plaid background in black then cut that panel at an angle and layered it over the pierced panel. I inked a thin cardstock strip in red and adhered it over the angle and tied a bakers twine bow. I stamped and die cut the flowers, leaves, and sentiment and adhered them to a die cut square. Finally I added some sequins for sparkly fun :)

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Hope your day is sweet

Ready to be inspired?!

This week at Inspired By we are being inspired by Pink Hot Chocolate!! YUM!!!!

Inspired By Challenge #275

We are teaming up with the Coffee Loving Cardmakers and there are prizes up for grabs. Fun hey?
'The prize will be the Sweet Valentine Wishes collection from Laurel Seabrook Designs  - (the design team has used the prize kit for some inspiration today!) and if you use coffee/tea/hot chocolate on your card, be sure to link up over at the CLC blog as there's a prize up for grabs there too!

Here is how I was inspired....

Not gonna lie, it's been a while since I've used digital designs, but the printing and fussy cutting muscle memory came back in a snap ... just like riding a bike LOL!

Digital designs used on my card: pink polka dot paper, coffee mug, and strawberries

Other supplies:
Dies: Avery Elle pierced rounded frames; Pinkfresh Studio sentiment banner die
Stamp: Honey Bee mini messages 'sweets'
Embossing folder: Rainbow Splash cascading hearts
Misc: stickles, jute twine, heart embellishments, woodgrain patterned paper, white cardstock

Thanks so much for stopping by!!!

love you

This is a card representing several firsts for me....

• the first time I truly created a one layer CAS card (GASP!)
• the first time I created a mask... yep, masked that little Frenchie so I could stencil the row of hearts
• the first time I linked up to sooooo many challenges (listed below) ... there were so many overlapping challenge themes I just couldn't narrow it down..... I so enjoyed challenging myself with this new to me technique that I wanted to share my first super clean one layer CAS card with them all!! LOL :)

Thanks so much for stopping by, truly appreciate it!!
