As You See It Challenge: Rainbow

Played along with the latest As You See It Challenge #223: Rainbow

This is my first time playing at this challenge site, happy I found it!
Of all of the cards I have made, I think I have only made one rainbow-themed card before!! And it was a literal rainbow LOL. So this was a great challenge to get me to step outside of the box and do something different, and that I did!!

Using the "Thanks" die was quite time intensive.. cutting the letters from six different patterned papers, then from black cardstock, then from the yellow paper... but wow, what a vivid end result, I LOVE how it turned out!
I stamped a simple sentiment and then added a few rainbow colored sequins for some extra pizzazz.

Playing along with the latest challenge at The Card Concept: Easter Blessings

I was VERY inspired by the inspiration photo when designing my card!!

Where to do I begin..... SOOOO much inspiration from the photo to make my clean & layered card.
I was inspired by the color scheme and all of the texture... the mirror, the desk, the lamp shade, the black metal cage, the blue box flower container, the layered cross, and the ribbon.
Yes.. HOLY inspiration!
This was a fantastic challenge!!

Love this soft, feminine card... I don't know the last time I made a baby card, making this was a great change of pace!!

the card concept #130

I was inspired by many things in the card concept #130 image

I was inspired in the following ways by the photo prompt:
•the wood shelves inspired the kraft cardstock
•the ship lap and cream containers inspired the cream colored card background
•the 'collage-y" feel of the green items on the shelves inspired me to use various scraps of different shades of green patterned paper
•the shamrocks on twine were quite literally duplicated ;)
•matting the green paper strip with black cardstock was inspired by the black mug rack
•and lastly, the sentiment stamp choice was inspired by the 'leprechaun kisses' fonts on the canister  - I wanted to mimic both the clean print and the script

Yeah.... I tend to put a LOT of thought into my cards ;)
