I love working with challenges that take me outside of my comfort zone, and the CASology: Fox challenge was no exception...

my card was also made to work with the latest challenge at Festive Friday: International Women's Day (I used heart, glitter, female sentiment)

And here is my creation

This was so much fun for me to create because I NEVER design with critters... and I actually enjoyed watercoloring that cute little fox ;) I won't even tell you how many attempts it took to get one that didn't smear or bleed, but hey, practice makes better, right? LOL  I mixed several colors of distress oxide inks to get the color I wanted (wild honey, carved pumpkin, scattered straw). The stamp set is ancient... but I'm glad that I found it in my arsenal! 

Grateful for challenges that allow me to step outside of my comfort zone!!

Pretty darn proud of this one.....
I am not typically good at the CAS style, but I think I may have succeeded here!! LOL
I chose to keep the color palette light and pretty monochromatic to help keep the card clean. And I really restrained myself when it came to embellishing the card to keep it simple as well.
Love how this one turned out!
