color throwdown #585 - guest star stamper

yes.
you read that right...
I am BEYOND honored to be the Guest Star Stamper for this week's
teal - green - coral - cream
 Here is my card...

First of all, what an amazing honor it was to be chosen to be the guest stamper for this week's challenge!!! HUGE thanks to the Color Throwdown crew of talented designers for the opportunity!!

So about my card....
If you know anything about my card making style, I am a HUGE fan of colors and patterns!!
I was so happy when I found that delicious teal and green patterned paper in my stash, the card sort of developed around it!
I then went digging thru supplies and found the chipboard branch, which has that slight bit of coral color, perfect!
And then for the stamping.... so I stamped this bird on watercolor paper and layered some watercolors to make it a coral-ish color..... there's some pink, orange, yellow, red in there. It was a fun process!
Then I stamped the sentiment on vellum with StazOn ink.
Other materials: cream textured cardstock, wood button, off white twine, kraft cardstock

This was such a great challenge for me, it had me using colors that I don't typically gravitate toward, and I REALLY enjoyed the process and the end result!
Hope you will go check out the Color Throwdown blog to see the design team's cards and hopefully be inspired to play along with the challenge yourself!

Thanks so much for stopping by, I truly appreciate it!!!
xoxo
