Take 2 - Altenew August Inspiration Challenge

 I'm back with another take on Altenew's August Inspiration Challenge!

So, let me be honest... after some thought, I decided that I was not 100% pleased with the first card I made (see previous post)... I felt like the colors were too washed out for my liking, so I decided I wanted to go a little bit bolder!

For this card, I knew I wanted to use Altenew's Build a Flower: Poppy stamp set.

For the poppies, I tried some tone on tone stamping in Altenew coral berry, and added a bright contrasting Altenew warm sunshine center. The flower outlines and leaves are stamped in Altenew dark chocolate. The card base is built from some warm patterned papers, and I was so excited when I found that chevron striped paper that resembled the pillow from the inspiration photo!! I added the Altenew 'hello' die cut sentiment, some pearl embellishments, and twine bow to finish the card.
